Your prospects build their shortlist with ChatGPT. Be on it before the first demo.

By the time a prospect fills in your demo form, they've already compared several tools in ChatGPT or Perplexity. Often with your competitors' vs pages open in another tab. Hikoo tracks those shortlist questions and sees who comes up, and why. Then it fixes your pages and publishes the comparisons you're missing. For the third-party sources AI reads, it finds the right contact and writes to them.

Agent plan at €499 excl. VAT per month per site, no long term commitment.

What does GEO mean for a SaaS company?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work of getting your software recommended when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity which tool to pick. For B2B SaaS it happens in two places. First on your own site, with the pages AI comes looking for (readable pricing, integrations, security, a page for every "X or Y" and every alternative). Then on the sources it cites in your category, such as G2, Capterra, Reddit or trade press, where your name has to show up.

Shortlist questions, the way people type them into ChatGPT. None of them contain your name.

First pass

  • Best payroll software for an 80 employee company in the UK?
  • Best project management tool for a 20 person agency?
  • HRIS for a 300 employee company, with payroll and EU data hosting?

Head to head

  • Zendesk, Intercom or Front for a 20 agent support team?
  • Salesforce or HubSpot for a Series B SaaS with 30 sales reps?
  • Compare eIDAS compliant e-signature tools

Replacing something

  • Simpler Salesforce alternative for a mid-size company?
  • Gong alternatives that handle calls in French and German
  • What should replace spreadsheets for cash flow forecasting?

Problem first

  • How do I automate reminders for unpaid invoices?
  • How do we cut churn in the first 90 days of a B2B SaaS?
  • A tool to pull customer requests from every channel into one place?

The demos you lose without ever knowing. The shortlist is locked before your first call.

Your competitors write the comparison for you.

A prospect asks "X or Y" and the AI pulls whatever vs and alternatives pages it finds. Don't have one? It reads your competitors' pages instead, arguments and all.

Cited as a source, never named.

Plenty of SaaS brands are stuck here. Your page helps build the answer, but the text recommends someone else. Buyers remember the brand written in the answer, rarely the link at the bottom.

Paid costs a little more every quarter.

Raise the Google Ads budget and the cost per demo rises with it. A recommendation in an AI answer isn't paid per click, and it comes back every time the question does.

One spot in the answer, counted in ACV. And you know your ACV better than we do.

A buyer who comes from an AI answer has often built a shortlist and read your comparison pages already. They arrive late in the cycle, with their exact case in mind. By the time they fill in your demo form, only a handful of tools are left to choose from, and they convert better than a visitor still discovering the category.

51%of B2B software buyers start their research in an AI chatbot more often than on Google.

A pricing page ChatGPT can actually read.

Features, pricing, integrations, security. Hikoo reads those pages the way ChatGPT does. A price loaded in JavaScript or a page blocked in robots.txt, and the AI walks right past it. The fix comes written, so your team only has to ship it.

02

A page for every comparison you're up against.

Your software against each competitor, alternatives pages, a page that explains your category, guides by role. Hikoo writes the missing ones from the questions it tracks, and reworks the ones that have aged.

Your name where AI goes to double-check.

To pick B2B software, AI engines read review sites, best tool lists, Reddit and trade press. Hikoo finds the pages that cite your competitors and leave you out. It tracks down the right person and writes them something useful, follow-ups included.

A report that reads in demos.

How it runs

  2. 2The AIs are asked these questions every day
  3. 3You see who gets cited, where, and thanks to which sources
  4. 4The fronts fix, publish and win the missing citations

The numbers for the board

  • Your rank against each competitor
  • The sources each engine cites
  • Visits coming from AI

On your desk every week

  • Page fixes ready to publish
  • Vs and alternatives pages
  • Messages to sources that leave you out
  • The week's summary

Your green light

You set what goes out without you and what waits for a yes, page by page and message by message. If your PMM wants to read every vs page before it ships, that works too.

The honest timeline

Citation gains usually take 4 to 8 weeks to settle, the time AI engines take to come back to the fixed pages. Beyond that, it depends on your category and who you're up against.

Questions SaaS teams keep asking us

Another question? Write to us

  • It's the next step of the same project. AI engines read the pages Google and Bing index, and a good share of their sources come out of those results. GEO covers what SEO leaves aside. Your place in the answer first, then the comparison pages you're missing and the third-party sources worth going after.

  • Hikoo measures visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, page by page, and shows the questions where you gain ground. Some buyers never click. They remember your name and come back through a branded search. Add "How did you hear about us?" to your demo form, ChatGPT shows up there fast.

  • In most software categories, yes. Review sites are part of what AI engines read to recommend a tool, and buyers often go there to check their pick. Answers also lean on local comparison sites and trade blogs in each language. Before you put time or budget there, Hikoo shows which ones matter in your category, engine by engine.

  • Hikoo does, on the Agent plan. Every week, page fixes arrive ready to publish and comparison pages get written. Messages to sources go out once you approve them, or on their own if you'd rather.

  • The first fixes go out in week one. Citations usually take 4 to 8 weeks, the time AI engines take to read your pages again. Nobody can promise you a precise date, the pace depends on your category and your competitors. In the pipeline, the effect then follows your sales cycle.

  • The Agent plan is €499 excl. VAT per month per site, with no long term commitment. To start with a diagnosis, Monitoring at €69 and Growth at €179 measure and recommend, with a 7 day free trial. Several products or sites get a custom offer.
