ChatGPT
We need leadership training for 15 first-time managers, in person in Chicago. Which providers have good employer references?
"The people who book a call with us now tell us they found us on ChatGPT and Claude. They're our warmest leads."
GEO for training providers, how does it work?
For a training provider, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) means getting cited when a learner or an L&D manager asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity which course to take or buy. The questions are specific. They name a certification, a city, a funding option, sometimes a session date. AI engines answer from course directories, Google reviews, Trustpilot, Course Report for bootcamps and roundups in career and trade media. A provider that wants to be cited needs readable course pages, with the same facts on every platform, and a presence on those sources.
The questions that fill (or empty) your sessions. City and funding included, asked long before anyone books.

Learners choose in ChatGPT and book somewhere else.
If your name is missing at the first step, the second never comes.
Well ranked on Google, missing from ChatGPT.
A provider can rank well on Google and still show up in no AI answer about its own courses. The two don't read pages the same way. You only see the gap when you ask the questions.
People book the name the AI gave them.
Booking platforms and employer portals are where people sign up, rarely where they decide. The provider named in the answer is the one they search for next.
Sessions that run half empty.
An unsold seat in an open session is gone for good, and the room and trainer cost the same either way. Questions by city and date, like "next session in Dallas", are the ones that fill seats.
One more seat sold, session after session. And sometimes an in-house contract paid by the employer.
A learner who comes from an AI answer has already compared and knows which session they want. Each extra seat lifts your fill rate. On the employer side, one answer can turn into an in-house contract worth far more than a single seat.
Start low. A learner counts whoever pays for the seat.
What one seat costs, whoever funds it.
These are your assumptions, adjust them. Hikoo then measures what actually comes in.

Session dates the AI can actually see.
Hikoo goes through your course pages, session calendar, prices and outcome data as ChatGPT would. The gaps look alike from one provider to the next. A price nobody can find, dates loaded in JavaScript, an accreditation never stated, no Course structured data. Hikoo sends you the fix already written.

Present where learners check before they book.
To pick a course, AI engines read course directories, review sites like Google and Trustpilot, Course Report for bootcamps and roundups in career and trade media. Hikoo notes where your competitors show up and you don't. When it's an incomplete listing, it prepares the fix. When it's an article, it finds the author and writes to them, with a follow up if nobody answers.

You decide what goes out on its own and what waits for your approval. Anything your accreditation covers, outcomes, prices, prerequisites, delivery format, goes through your review before it's published.
Before a new term
Expect 4 to 8 weeks, as a rule, for citation gains to settle while AI engines reread your pages. Build that delay in before a new term or a new run of sessions.
The questions training providers bring to the first call
Another question? Write to us
They sign up there, but the choice is often made earlier, in a search engine or an AI answer. The provider named in that answer is the one people look up next, or bring to their manager. Hikoo shows which providers get named on your courses today.
It helps, actually. Most accreditation schemes already ask for clear public information, prerequisites and prices, pass or satisfaction rates. AI engines like to quote verifiable facts like these. Hikoo makes them readable and consistent on your site and on every directory or review platform that lists you.
Because AI engines don't copy Google's ranking. They look for a precise answer, a session date, a price, an accreditation, a review, and cite the page that gives it clearly. The free audit shows the gap question by question, and GEO works on that gap without undoing your SEO.
Hikoo counts the visits ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot send to each course page, and tracks your share of voice question by question. Some learners never click and type your name straight into a search bar. For them, add "How did you hear about us?" to your booking or quote form.
On the Agent plan, Hikoo does, every week. Course page fixes and missing pages arrive written. Messages to sources go out only after your approval. Your training team keeps the final word on anything about course content.
Ideally two months before. The first fixes ship in week one, but citation gains usually take 4 to 8 weeks to settle, the time AI engines need to read your pages again. The effect on enrollments then depends on your session calendar.
The Agent plan is €499 excl. VAT per month per site, with no long term commitment. Monitoring at €69 and Growth at €179 measure and recommend, with a 7 day free trial. To make the case internally, the free audit shows where you stand on your own courses, and the calculator above turns it into enrollments. Networks of centers or several sites get a custom offer.
